Life Update
1. I've been making and enjoying making art for as long as I can remember, but I probably seriously started considering as a career path sometime in middle school.
2. Hard question! So many things. Composition, contrast between light and dark, colors, anatomy, creativity, emotion, etc. I love looking at swirling organic lines and figures and creatures more than architectural stuff. Generally, the more details the better.
3. For my drawings...I don't know. The techniques vary and the desired effects vary. I can tell you I'm detail oriented in a lot of my drawings though. For my paintings I try to make interesting compositions, negative space, and flow to make the eye move throughout the piece. I don't know if I succeed at this or not.
4. I think what I would like to accomplish most with my art is to create what I see in my mind to some degree and not have it look like shit. I would love to make a graphic novel or two, even if it's just for myself, though a fan would be nice. I would love sustain myself financially by making art.
5. "STOP MAKING ME SUFFER."
6. I want to be able to draw people in more dynamic poses without their anatomy looking wonky, and I want to be able to draw backgrounds/environments like... at all. Even a little bit. That'd be nice.
7. I'm not sure. Nothing particular comes to mind.
8. Nope. Though there are some here on DA that I enjoy watching regularly: (yes, your creativity knows no bounds!) and more...
9. Faye started out very similar to me because I wanted a character that I could easily write, though she's changed some and is more dramatic. We started with the same hair style and somewhat similar clothing style. Now I have a closer hair style to Saemus XD
10. I usually put my music on shuffle while I create art, unless I find something that fits my mood at the time. I've found that I listen to the Phantom of the Opera movie soundtrack a lot when I'm working in my office, I like to sing out loud with it when I'm alone.
